Bob Ragland Branch Naming Festival

Celebrate the naming our of newest location with family friendly programming and tons of outdoor fun!10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: – Qi Gong with Kandi Guided movement and breathing exercises to balance the body’s energy and strengthen muscles.
11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Branch Dedication. Join us as we dedicate our newest Branch Library and honor its namesake – Mr. Bob Ragland.
1:45 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Artist Spotlight w/ Selah V.- Come join us as we explore the connections between intuitive painting, mindfulness meditation, and community. Participants will learn how to combine abstract painting and drawing skills with mindfulness meditation techniques. Acrylic paint, pastels, paper, and canvas will be the primary media for this course.
3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Family Yoga w/ Bev Grant -Experience a fun approach to mindfulness, movement, and self awareness with the whole family. Participants will receive a guide to music and postures you can try with your family at home after the event!
