Cabaret Karaoke: Cooped Up Edition

Taking a stab at the past year in a fun whimsical and virtual way, Rocky Mountain Arts Association’s Cabaret Karaoke: Cooped Up Edition takes place April 17, 2021. The annual fundraiser featuring singers from the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus (DGMC) and Denver Women’s Chorus (DWC) will highlight a silent auction and “cooped up” musical selections, karaoke-style, complete with lyrics for the at-home audience.Promising to bring entertainment, humor, and irreverent observations on how Denver’s premier chorus members have coped with being cooped up for a year, Cabaret Karaoke will also help to support DWC and DGMC. RMAA Board members Heidi Shriver and Erik Laitos will host the event, showcase auction items, and highlight how the choruses continue to build community through music, both during social distancing and when members can return to sing together again.
