Four huge spruces at Pferdesteller Park, 33rd and Wolff, came down in last weekend’s windstorm. The tallest was probably 70 feet and all four completely blocked 33rd Ave. Though the trees wound up in front yards, there was no damage to cars or homes. A resident said that during the flash storm, pinecones were pelting her house and the roar of the wind was louder than the tree falling
